Overview

TaskQuest is an activity tracking app designed for individuals tired of the

monotony of daily life, especially those who often procrastinate and struggle to translate their planned work into action. It is a location-based app that transforms tasks into quests, providing users with a sense of accomplishment upon completion. TaskQuest continually tracks users' activities, encouraging them to get out and engage in activities that ultimately bring vitality to their lives.

Background: Harry is a university student juggling a busy academic schedule, part-time work, and a social life. He tends to procrastinate and often finds it difficult to focus on his studies. Harry enjoys video games and is drawn to gamified experiences that make mundane tasks more engaging.

Pain Points: Struggles with managing time effectively, staying motivated, and completing assignments on time. Feels overwhelmed by academic responsibilities and often finds it hard to start tasks.

Needs: A tool that transforms academic and daily tasks into engaging activities, providing motivation and a sense of achievement. Harry seeks a fun and interactive way to manage his responsibilities and maintain a balanced life.

GPS functionality.

At the home screen, tap the          button to go to settings.

You can customize the app by choosing the language, color, text size, and haptics function based on your preference.

Tap the         button to go back to the home screen.

To set the schedule, tapping the plus button will connect you to the Apple Maps and take you to the search screen. 

Type the location and tap the 'Search' button.

Choose the right location.

Tap the 'Select' button, and the location will be added to the home screen.

While you are doing your task, 

TaskQuest will track your activity and send you notifications.

TaskQuest will remind you to do your tasks

and encourage you to succeed in your tasks.

When you arrive at the location, TaskQuest will notify you that you have completed the task. Tap the notification to go to the app and check the congratulatory message.

Tap the screen to go to the home screen. Completed tasks will be marked in red.

Key Concept

The button is designed in three dimensions, and when the user taps the button shape, there is a motion that makes users feel as if they are pressing the actual button. Haptic functions, which give vibrations, will be played at the same time whenever they tap the button.
